Copyright & DMCA Policy

Inteleforge Limited, trading as The SBK Dance, respects the intellectual property of others and expects everyone using the service to do the same. Organisers, teachers and dancers can upload images and write text: event cover images and posters, profile photos, event descriptions and teacher bios. If you believe any of it infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act on it.

Report copyright infringement

Send a written notice to our designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) it must include all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).
2. The copyrighted work you say is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list).
3. The material you say infringes it, with the page address (URL) where it appears on our site.
4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

What happens next

• We acknowledge a complete notice and review it promptly.
• If it is valid we remove the material or disable access to it, and tell the person who posted it, with a copy of the notice.
• An incomplete notice may not be acted on; we will tell you what is missing.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3) it must include: your physical or electronic signature; the material that was removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the US, any judicial district in which we may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. An account that receives three valid notices within 12 months is suspended and may be closed, and we may act sooner for serious or deliberate infringement.

False notices

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consider taking legal advice first.
